WPR Rebuttal Goes Live!

Welcome to WPR Rebuttal! Covering the sides of the story missed by Wisconsin Public Radio; bringing you narratives the UW System Board of Regents won't allow; shedding light on perspectives the owners of WPR don't want you to hear!

I'm your host, SenatorJPO, kicking off the inaugural broadcast of WPR Rebuttal. I have, for you, a press release: One that is for immediate release! WPR-Rebuttal.com Goes Live!

Date: April 26, 2016

MADISON, WIS. - Nearly 3 months in development, conservative news website WPR-Rebuttal.com went online early this morning.

Site proprietor and primary contributor, Joseph Ohler, Jr., was inspired to create WPR-Rebuttal.com after seeing how disconnected from work-a-day reality the left-leaning musings of UW Board of Regents-owned WPR often are.

WPR-Rebuttal.com is generously provided as a public service to promote critical thinking rather than passive receptivity of technocratic blathering. Missing portions of WPR-sourced issues are brought to light and further examined in widely understood lay terms to disabuse WPR readers.

When asked about why there exists a need to complement and rebut WPR's coverage of regional news, Mr. Ohler explained, "Wisconsin Public Radio often omits facts and figures that are critical to understanding both the immediate story and the broader issues involved."

WPR-Rebuttal.com features a weekly call-in show, running every Friday from 12:00 p.m. (noon) through 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. The call-in number is (929) 477-3965; and the inaugural broadcast is Friday, April 29.

Also available at from WPR-Rebuttal.com are weekly digest updates, including articles responding to the previous week's stories and a digital archive or "podcast" of the prior week's call-in period.

Move over, Wisconsin Public Radio! WPR-Rebuttal.com looks forward to thinking critically alongside its engaged audience in furtherance of the true pros, cons, and explanations behind the latest regional news that WPR only halfway covers.

This concludes our inaugural broadcast. Check back by Friday for more WPR Rebuttal news, views, and attitude.
